About the Show
Dancin' In The Street is a jukebox musical set on a vibrant neighborhood block where every stoop has a story and every streetlight holds a memory, bursting with the timeless music of Motown, soul, folk, disco, and pop. As one unforgettable summer block party approaches, neighbors, friends, and couples at emotional crossroads rediscover family, love, and connection through the songs that shaped generations, from "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" and "Both Sides Now" to "This Will Be," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and "Last Dance." During intermission, audiences are invited onstage for a live block party of their own.
