About the Show
Jim Starkey's modest version of the American Dream is to build a home on his one-acre plot and replace his doublewide trailer with something his daughter, Lorelai, can inherit. When a highway expansion project threatens that plan, Jim finds himself reluctantly thrust into the public eye, ultimately deciding how far he can be pushed.

Lighting designer Mike Wood does fine work focusing the action.
Spotswood's play does what good theater should. He takes you to a different world. He puts you in the Starkeys' shoes and makes you feel what they feel.
Jeff Cone's costumes suit the characters and their financial situations, while Mike Wood's lighting nicely balances the scenes as they move from one location to another.
