About the Show

Jim Starkey's modest version of the American Dream is to build a home on his one-acre plot and replace his doublewide trailer with something his daughter, Lorelai, can inherit. When a highway expansion project threatens that plan, Jim finds himself reluctantly thrust into the public eye, ultimately deciding how far he can be pushed.

Press

  • Lighting designer Mike Wood does fine work focusing the action.

  • Spotswood's play does what good theater should. He takes you to a different world. He puts you in the Starkeys' shoes and makes you feel what they feel.

  • Jeff Cone's costumes suit the characters and their financial situations, while Mike Wood's lighting nicely balances the scenes as they move from one location to another.
