About the Show

Winner of six Tony Awards including Best Musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie is set in New York City in 1922, at the height of the Jazz Age. Young Millie Dillmount arrives from Salina, Kansas, with a grand plan to find a job as a secretary for a wealthy man and then marry him. Her plan goes completely awry when she takes up residence at a hotel run by the dragon-lady Mrs. Meers, meets a charming but seemingly penniless suitor named Jimmy, and stumbles into a white-slavery ring operating out of her own lobby. Filled with frisky flappers, dashing leading men, and madcap tap numbers.
