About the Show
Neil Simon's comedy follows Barney Cashman, a forty-seven-year-old happily married, successful restaurant owner who has come to realize his whole life can be summed up in one word: "nice." Determined to experience his secret fantasies at least once, Barney sets out to have an affair, attempting to seduce three different women in his mother's apartment over three acts. Each attempt fails in its own way, leading Barney to a quiet reckoning with what it means to grow older and whether his life has been fully lived.
