About the Show
Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella is the timeless tale of a young woman forced into a life of servitude by her cruel stepmother and self-centered stepsisters, who dreams of a better life. With the help of her fairy godmother, Cinderella is transformed into a princess and finds true love with the kingdom's prince. Originally broadcast live on CBS in 1957 as a vehicle for Julie Andrews, the score features classics including "In My Own Little Corner," "Impossible / It's Possible," and "Ten Minutes Ago."
