About the Show
Marc Acito's comedy follows two unconventional bird families in New York: Roy and Silo, the same-sex male penguins at the Central Park Zoo who adopt an egg and raise a chick together, and Pale Male and Lola, the red-tailed hawks famously nesting on a Fifth Avenue apartment building. Inspired by true events that also gave rise to the children's book And Tango Makes Three, the play examines what makes a family while celebrating love and parenthood in all their forms.
