Mike Wood
Mike Wood is a theatre practitioner working extensively throughout the United States. While the bulk of his work has been in the theatrical world, he has experience in nearly all areas of live production and is always seeking out new and challenging opportunities to work with collaborators. He has been honored with many nominations and awards for his work in several cities throughout the country. Recent major projects include Dungeons & Dragons The Twenty Sided Tavern, currently running Off-Broadway, Rogers the Musical for Marvel Studios, and The Hot Wing King with writer/director Katori Hall at the Alliance Theatre.
An accomplished educator, Mike is currently teaching design classes as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University, and has previously served on the faculties of Marymount Manhattan College, The Collegiate School, Hillsborough Community College, and Howard W. Blake School of the Arts
He holds a BA in Theatre Design from the University of South Florida as well as an MFA in Theatre Design & Technology from the University of Memphis, both with concentrations in Lighting Design.
Mike has been a proud member of United Scenic Artists, Local USA829 since 2014.
